Since 1995, I have developed and maintain the Roanoke Valley Amateur Radio Club website. We were the first and only Radio Club in the area at the time with a website and it has gone through many changes. Over the years websites have changed from providing 'static' information to the reader to a more dynamic social community. Once it was 'one' person placing information on a site, now members of the community contribute information to keep the site viable and informative to all.
A website is only as sucessful and valuable as the timely and relative information it contains. Many sites have died over the years by becoming dull and stale.
The club has decided to chart a different course for the website. As of June 20, W4CA.org and W4CA.net will no longer be hosted by me. I wish the best for the 'new' site that the club has started. It may be found at W4CA.com
Thanks to all who have assisted me over the years to make our club's presence known on the internet.
